Elkhorn

Elkhorn roofs tend to be big and complicated: multiple ridges, deep valleys, and dormers that all have to be flashed properly or they will find you a leak eventually.

Complex roofs are where shortcuts hide. We open the valleys, replace the flashing rather than reusing it, and photograph each detail as it goes in so you can see what is under the finished surface.

We also do a lot of fiber cement and steel siding out here, where west-facing walls take the full afternoon sun and cheap vinyl gives up early.
